Current Phase of Construction: Interior Construction

What is Happening During the Next Two Weeks

  • Interior work continues, which includes material deliveries; interior finishes; electrical, wiring and MEP commissioning work.
  • Exterior work on the roof continues for installation of pavers.
  • Façade caulking and cleaning will take place on 124th Street and 125th Street. This work will continue for approximately 2 weeks.
  • Until this work is completed, the sidewalk sheds on both 124th and 125th Street are required to be in place.
  • Regular work hours 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • No after hours work is scheduled.

What To Expect:

  • Regular working hours are 7:00 am – 5:30 pm Monday to Friday. Note that contractors may mobilize on site approximately 30 to 45 minutes before work commences.
  • Although contractors carefully stage construction activities to minimize disruption to the surrounding community, the nature of construction work is such that some disruptions will occur. Expect some noise, vibration, dust, and other related impacts due to construction. The project adheres to a comprehensive clean construction program and mitigation protocols, including dust control and noise mitigation. Noise mitigation requirements are posted on the site construction fence and are monitored regularly by the Department of Environmental Protection.

What is Happening During the Next Two Weeks

What is Happening During the Next Two Weeks

  • Interior work continues, which includes material deliveries; interior finishes; electrical, wiring and MEP commissioning work.
  • A concrete pour for sidewalk on 124th Street is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29.
  • Exterior work on the west facade and the roof continues for waterproofing installation. Installation of railings will begin on the roof terrace, 5th floor balcony and art niches on both the north and south facades. This work will continue for approximately 3-4 weeks. Until this work is completed, the sidewalk sheds on both 124th and 125th Street are required to be in place.
  • Regular work hours 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • After hours work is scheduled for Saturday, June 1 and 8. The work will include interior work, and exterior railing work, weather permitting.

  • Exterior work on the east and west facades as well as the roof continues for waterproofing installation. Railings are being installed on the roof terrace and art niches.
  • Regular work hours 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • After hours work is scheduled for Saturday, May 18 and 25. The work will include interior work, and exterior roof work, weather permitting.

  • Exterior work on the east and west facades as well as the roof continues for waterproofing installation.
  • Concrete for the sidewalk on 125th Street will be poured. A small concrete truck will be adjacent to the site.
  • Regular work hours 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. After hours work is scheduled for Saturday, May 4 and 11. The work will include interior work, and exterior roof work, weather permitting.

  • After hours work is scheduled for Saturday, April 20 and 27. The work will include interior work, and exterior roof work, weather permitting.

What is Happening This Week:

  • The protected pedestrian walkway on 125th Street has been moved to the parking lane of the street due to reconfiguration of the sidewalk shed.
  • Interior work continues, which includes material deliveries; interior door and partition installation; elevator, electrical, wiring and other MEP installation work, tiling and painting.
  • Exterior work on the east and west facades as well as the roof continues for installation of waterproofing and skylight installation.
  • Regular work hours 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • After hours work is scheduled for Saturday, April 13. The work will include interior work, and some exterior work on the facades if weather permits.

  • Exterior work on the east and west facades as well as the roof continues for waterproofing installation and skylight installation.
  • Regular work hours 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday
  • After hours work is scheduled for Saturday, April 6 and April 13. The work on April 6 will include exterior work: sidewalk shed reconfiguration on 125th Street; a concrete pour at the loading dock which will involve concrete trucks on 124th Street; and exterior wall work on east and west facades.
