Explore the transformative quality of sound in a two-night performance series inspired by the latest inHarlem exhibition Dozie Kanu: Function. On the second evening, New York City-based collective The Standing On The Corner Art Ensemble performs live in an abstract dialogue with the works on view. Registration is required. Please arrive early as capacity is limited. Doors open at 7pm. Performances start at 7:30pm. Studio Museum 127 is accessible by wheelchair. 

The Standing On The Corner Art Ensemble was founded in 2016 and functions best in Brooklyn, New York. The collective produces musical, visual, and experiential works that equate hyperlocal incidence to cosmological wisdom. Visiting sites of emotional resonance under the weight of subjective histories, the Art Ensemble seeks to uncover the mysteries and ghosts of hidden truths through focused interpretation.
